A STONE-BUILT FARMHOUSE ,
CONSTRUCTED IN 1700
CONSTRUCTED IN 1700
The Tomasi wine grape growing farm started long ago in an 18th century farmhouse,
where Gianfranco Tomasi’s family has lived for generations. The house nestles in
the hills of northern Treviso, just outside an ancient burgh at Corbanese.
The building has preserved the charm of its farming traditions and the skilful restoration work just carried out has rejuvenated its fascination by highlighting its original stonework. Inside the house a stove dating back to the period the house was built heats the large dining room.
The recently restructured wing houses the winery with the tanks and vats used in fermenting wine. The renovation work is not yet complete: the second part of the project includes the addition of guest bedrooms to offer a pleasant stay in the hills of Prosecco Superiore DOCG.
